Can you believe it’s the end of October already? These are the last few days of warmth here on the East Coast and I wish the non-stop wind would stop making them feel cold! The good part is that we can mix and match an outfit to be in season, no matter what the temperature is. My favorite fall color has definitely been red wine and I have made it a point to add it in my daily look in one way or another. For a weekend brunch or coffee with a friend, here is one outfit you’ll be sure to wear over and over.
I chose to wear a breezy V neck with a tulip maxi skirt and ankle boots. I added my go-to crossbody bag since it matches everything!
This top is so versatile and can be worn so many different ways. It has a longer back and could also be work with skinny trousers or leggings and knee high boots.
This tulip maxi skirt is so cozy and just the right length so I don’t trip. It can be worn in the warmer days or the cooler days of fall.
To take the look from day to night, you can switch the ankle boots to some simple heels like these from Sam Edelman.
To turn this look into a “Casual Friday” look at the office, you can add a light jacket on top like this one from BCBGMAXAZRIA.
